    The content network module should be published in approximately 2 weeks.

    This is the module selection so far:

    1. Content Network – The primer
    2. Choosing content network keywords
    3. Content network keyword tools
    4. Placement targeting
    5. Enhanced content campaigns
    6. Controlling the content network reach
    7. Content network reporting
    8. Site & Category Exclusion
    9. Content Network Organization & Optimization
    10. CPM Bidding
    11. Demographic Bidding
    12. (Could be here or under another section): Introducing Doubleclick Ad Planner

    Are there specific questions you have that you think one of these modules needs to cover?

    Are there other lessons you’d like to see?

    I think what will happen with the content network is that a ‘tip’ section will be created (maybe now, maybe later) with various tips that don’t really fall into a section.

    Any other thoughts?

    Remarketing on Content Network
    I know a bunch of people who have a ton of success with remarketing on the content network. Will this be covered in section 5?

    I like remarketing a lot; but after examining the content modules and remarketing – I think it needs to be its own section.

    While remarketing ads only show on the content network, there are different rules for some business types and privacy statements that are so different from the typical content network that I think they need to be viewed in isolation from each other.

    I’ll do an entire section on remarketing in the next few modules that are uploaded.

    Hi Brad,

    Huge fan of your site and your trainings.  I attended your Atlanta seminar when I first got into Internet Marketing and still use a lot of the fundamentals!  We are branching into the display network and aren’t sure how to proceed.  There are so many DSPs, vendors and more.  Right now, we primarily use the Google display network and have had tons of vendors contacting us.  I’d love a training on how this all works: difference between vendors, DSPs and resources to help learn about them and how to make the best decisions for different clients.

    Are these guys at SMX or Affiliate Summit?  I’d love some guidance or a seminar on this area as it is growing quickly and constantly changing.  I almost can’t keep up with SEO/PPC changes let alone all the display options.  Thanks!

    Mara,
    Some of them will be at SMX; often ad:Tech is better for display but I just took a quick look at their next conference and it seems a bit lite on display stuff compared to the past.
    Usually, companies get demos of the various DSPs, take a look through vendors, and it’s a long process. I’m not sure of a quick resource for this type of buying. In fact, I looked for it a few years ago and was really frustrated by the lack of info in that area.
    Let me check with a friend who specializes in content advertising and see what she thinks are good resources for this info.

    Mara,
    I reached out to someone who specializes in display and this was her response:
    There’s a LinkedIn Group with lots of information.
    Marc Phillips (searchforecast) is a great resource for information on DSP’s and so is Jonathan Mizel with Traffic Evolution (trafficevolution) (his material has lots of resources and strategies WAY beyond Google).

    Looking for strategy on content/display network conversion optimization. Even after getting a fair amount of traffic with display, conversion rates are lousy and I find that there is usually no significant ROI. I’m sure there are advertisers that are successful with display, so I’d like to see more information about that topic.
