A search engine’s primary goal is to show quality search results to a searcher. If the searcher finds what they want, they will use the same search engine again.

A search engine marketer’s goal is conversions. This is accomplished by showcasing relevant offers to a searcher based off their search query. If they receive conversions from a search engine, the marketer will continue to advertise on the search engine.

A searcher has one goal – to find the answer to their question.

What does your marketing accomplish?
