IncentiVentas posted an update I have a new customer that is not using the Google Analytics Tool.
They are asking me for the gclid code to set up the tracking of the ads.
As far as I know the gclid is not a unique code, it is changing all the time.
My understanding is that any Analytics Tools should be able to track ads from AdWords without using a custom tag.
Is this correct?
My guess is that one option is to change the configuration on AdWords from auto-tagging to manual tagging and set up a unique tag for each ad.
What are your suggestions?
Thanks a lot,
